        Senior Executive Legal Assistant

        We are currently seeking a Senior Executive Legal Assistant. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Lawyer, the Senior Executive Administrative Assistant takes independent action to initiate and provide advanced administrative assistance, involving judgment and analytical skills on a regular basis.

        RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Act as key liaison for the CEO and other executives by screening visitors, phone calls, mail and email.
        • Organize executive calendar by clarifying purpose, priorities and required materials for appointments, meetings, conferences, and seminars. (This includes assisting in the preparation of all required reports & technical presentations for regular Board and Committee meetings.)

        SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

        • Bachelor degree, preferably in commerce or business administration
        • Minimum of five years related experience with progressive levels of responsibility in administrative roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French

        Regional Director of Sales – USA

        We are currently seeking a dynamic sales hunter to fill the position of Regional Director of Sales – USA.  The Regional Director of Sales has the primary responsibility to build a sustainable and ever growing level of business, as well as to drive sales in a designated regional territory for our state of the art Broadband Satellite Networks product lines including VSAT Satellite Networks, VSAT Modems for various verticals, satellite modems (SCPC, MCPC, DVBS2X), and to fulfill other associated services.

        POSITION OVERVIEW

         This position contains a large element of developing new vertical markets and customer segments which is achieved by understanding client’s needs and developing solutions to cater to these.

        To maximize output, it will be important to work closely with the internal Product/ Program Management team which will provide sales engineering solutions, research opportunities, marketing support and product and solutions strategies. The position will also require extensive travelling within the region to work with existing partners, distributors as well as to establish new market customers and new channels where the need exists. Lastly, setting up, supporting and driving new customers and channel partners will be a key element to success.

        RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Identify, address and develop new opportunities for sales in a geographic region.
        • Understand customer requirements in targeted vertical markets.
        • Maintain long-term relationships with SpaceBridge’s Key Accounts and maximize sales opportunities.
        • Generate and develop turn-key solutions opportunities for these customers.
        • Support and develop existing sales channels in combination with developing new business or alternative market channels where need be.
        • Develop & strengthen market share, revenue, and sales growth within assigned geography.
        • Maintain profound forecast and pipeline
        • Achieve sales goals while maintaining overall company objectives such as profit margin and forecast accuracy objectives (annually and quarterly).

        • Travel Requirements: Minimum of 50% international travels.

         

        SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

        • Bachelor in Science Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Master in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
        • US DoD Security clearance is a definitive advantage
        • Previous sales experience is preferred +7 years in the designated territory as a minimum
        • Proven ability in sales and business development in the telecommunications industry
        • Familiarity with Broadband Satellite Networks /Service Providers- ISP / Telco’s and MNO’s carriers – experience and relationship is a definite plus
        • Previous experience selling to cellular GSM operators is a definite plus.

        • Monitor the status of all active programs to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This may include performing the liaison function on difficult program issues between the company, the customers, and third party when applicable.
        • Familiar with contract structures and contract negotiation, forecasting, sales and marking support are key requirements for the position
        • Accountable for program budgets, cost control, profit margin. Continuous Improvement initiatives to be managed to improve quality, customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
        • Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure quarterly and annual success to goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
        • Be comfortable and familiar with (multi nation) international business practices which includes being sensitive to the various cultures and/or customs of a large international customer base that the company interfaces with daily.

         

        SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

        • 7 or more years of Satellite communication / telecom industry experience

        QMS (Quality Management System) and Processes Manager

        We are currently looking for a QMS and Processes Manager to ensure a smooth progress of manufacturing, to support all our marketing products, obtain the best quality to meet our customer expectations, deliver a high level of efficiency across all business functions, obtain the lowest cost of manufacturing and operations and review constantly our processes and quality for improvement of quality, performance, cost and profitability.

        RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Manage teams and provide them with technical guidance towards achieving the company goals and objectives.
        • Establish visions and key objectives for the department, to assist subordinates in developing knowledge and quality methodologies for better execution of their duties as well as their career advancement.
        • Drive the engineering excellence initiatives to meet the manufacturing parameter targets and ensure the process and equipment in high performance level assuring the products with high quality, high yield, low defect density and low cost.
        • Drive Process Improvement program in Finance, Human resources, PLM, Engineering, Operations and Customer Support for efficiency gain.
        • Liaise with external suppliers and professionals from other sites to provide specific needs for the department.
        • Maintain existing ISO certification.
        • Provide Business Process Improvement guidance to senior management.
        • Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
        • Ensure that all procedures conform to health and safety regulations, financial policies and legislation.
        • Meet assigned KPIs and budget allocation.
        • Audit accuracy of executive reporting metrics for accuracy.

         

        SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

        • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Quality Control.
        • Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Quality Management.
        • Minimum of 5 years in supervisory position or management position.
        • 5 years of experience in ISO certification or others quality framework.
        • 5 years of experience in quality and documentation control and supply chain processes
        • 3 years of experience in BPM (Business Process Management) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
        • 5 Years of experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
        • 5 years of experience with a MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
        • Effective communication and report writing skills.
        • Good negotiation skills with business functions.
        • Excellent analytic abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details.
        • Good leadership capabilities to lead projects to successful completion.
        • Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and processes.
        • Ability to work in a cross functional team

        Project Manager

        We are currently seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the role of Project Manager.  The chosen incumbent will ensure successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project. This will be accomplished this by monitoring and coordinating the activities of a cross-functional team in order to deliver projects according to plan.

        RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Develop project plans and budgets.
        • Prepare detailed scheduling, targets and resource planning for R & D and Engineering Projects.
        • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in accordance to management and stakeholders.
        • Ongoing communication, coordination and follow up with engineering/project managers on project progress; tracking and monitoring project milestones and deliverables.
        • Track project deliverables and milestones using project management tools and escalating critical issues to minimize project risk factors.
        • Weekly reporting of project progress, issues and delays to PMO.
        • Assess the risks and propose mitigation plans.
        • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
        • Define project performance criteria.
        • Monitor cost/schedule performance throughout the project.
        • Develop any business relationships required to the success of the project.
        • Communication and follow up with sub-contractors and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationship.
        • Meet project milestones from a cost and schedule perspective.
        • Chair review meetings with customers and subcontractors.
        • Establish and maintain program master schedules.
        • Manage scope and recommend adjustments to plan. Negotiate change of scope with customers.

        SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

        • Bachelor Degree or equivalent (preferably in Engineering)
        • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical Product and/or Project management
        • PMP certification or equivalent experience
        • First-hand knowledge of all aspects of the hardware & software development process;
        • Knowledge of satellite communications is an asset
        • Ability to coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
        • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills – persuasive, encouraging, motivating and team oriented.
        • Possesses critical thinking, conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a high-pressure environment is crucial;
        • Strong technical skills (asset) with an ability to quickly assimilate new ideas and concepts;
