Program Manager / Pre-Sales Engineer

SpaceBridge Inc. is currently looking for a Program Manager / Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. While reporting to the Program Management Director, the chosen incumbent will be responsible to support the sales process during all its cycle, from the preparation of the proposal up to the deployment of the solutions and its transference to operations area.


  • Reply directly to functional and technical elements on the different tender offers, RFP, RFI, RFQ, BID, etc., managing internal parties, third parties and providers that are involved in the preparation of the required documents to answer such processes.
  • Ability to create and perform technical and commercial presentations to customers and partners.
  • Perform and conduct tender evaluations mainly focused on the technical gap analyses and including but not limited to, commercial terms, delivery terms, legal Term & Conditions, business model, etc.
  • Support Sales and drive presentation of the technical part under his responsibility on the Go-no-Go meeting.
  • Have the general responsibility for the proposed solution, coordinating the answers with Product Managers, Engineering, Sales and Production/Operations areas.
  • Coordinate specific or periodic meetings to share information and provide feedback to the different areas (Legal, Engineering, Product Line, Operations/Production, etc.)  involved in the process of proposal preparation.
  • Responsible for presenting the products and solutions to potential customers. Perform equipment demonstrations and technical explanations of the proposed solutions.
  • Manage the Proof of Concept and Demos activities in coordination with Sales, Product Line Management and Engineering areas.
  • Attend and participate at field events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.
  • Participate in the preparation of bids by providing technical responses, in coordination with the Technical Manager, to the requirements provided by customers.
  • Prepare Technical Proposals providing detailed descriptions of the designed network configurations responding to specific customer requirements including but not limited to:
    • Overall Technical Description / System Diagrams / Rack Elevation / Equipment description / Link Budgets.
  • Prepare commercial proposals including, but not limited to:
    • Margin Analysis Sheet / Bill of Material / Price and Commercial Terms & Conditions.
  • Provide adequate technical information and training to the sales force.
  • Perform and conduct the Kick-off presentation once a proposal has been materialized.
  • Responsible for the program plan (Schedule and cost), risk analysis and mitigation plan, communication plan and closure activities of the projects assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years combined of bid/proposal and Project Management experience.
  • Good and thorough knowledge of the different Project Management frameworks.
  • Excellent English, written and oral, communication skills.
  • Good and thorough comprehension of satellite systems, mainly oriented to VSAT systems design, its advantages and solutions available in the market.
  • Must be resourceful and with capacity to adapt rapidly to the market and product evolution.
  • Ability to create and perform technical and commercial oriented presentations to customers and partners.
  • Ability for interaction and fluent communication with all the relevant stakeholders in any given project.
  • Knowledge on Satellite Link Budgets is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge on Internetworking and general VSAT systems design is highly preferred.
  • Understanding and knowledge of financial analysis and KPIs applied in Proposals and Programs control.
